La série de cinq numéros de New Pages of Prehistory/New Pages in History a été publiée par la Société ontarienne d'archéologie entre 1956 et 1962 suivant sa publication originale dans la revue ONTARIO HISTORY. Elle était parfois sous-titrée ANNUAL SUMMARY OF FIELDWORK. Le Dr. J. Norman Emerson en était le rédacteur. Aucune date de publication n'était donnée pour le premier numéro et pourrait ou non coincider avec la date qui paraît dans le titre (1956). Les dates de parution des quatre numéros subséquents sont fournies et sont une année plus tard que la date dans le titre. Afin d'éliminer toute confusion, la date dans le titre est utilisée pour identifier chaque numéro. Les pages de cette série n'étaient pas numérotées. Des mots clés apparaîssent dans entre parenthèses.
